2018 was a great year for fashion and it is looking like 2019 is going to be as well! Here is a list of some of my favorites and some that will possibly be very apparent this year.
NEON / BOLD COLORS
This has been my favorite trend of 2018 so i am very happy that it is being carried into the new year! It has only started to become popular towards the end of 2018 but we have seen many designers picking it up. Luois Vuitton and I.AM.GIA are just some of my favorites.
Below i have provided a couple of my favorite affordable options.
All of the items are available on Asos and are reasonably priced under £40. This is definitely a trend to pick up and have some fun with! release your inner 80’s workout look!

Business-wear
Although blazers have been in for a while, they have only begun to take off. Throw an oversized blazer over a t-shirt and shorts for a relaxed yet put together look. Add knee high boots, statement earring, and a belt around the waist for a look that will last all night!
Finding business-wear for cheap is actually quite simple. Most thrift stores have plenty of choice when it comes to blazers. If you are looking for a more fitted and sophisticated look, I suggest looking on Asos or Zara for a nice co-ord suit set.

Cardigans
I think that cardigans are going to make a comeback in 2019. I have seen celebrities, especially Bella Hadid, rocking cardigans buttoned up and worn as tops and I am so here for it!
Who thought that cardigans could be so sexy?
Pretty much any cardigan can be worn as a top, as long as it has a front closure of some sort. Try a cropped cardigan with a pair of jeans to show some midriff. Or try a long button-up caridgan as a dress with tights.

Tweed
Not sure how i feel about this one… It has definitely been more apparent in some designer’s 2019 spring cruise collections. I believe that especially two piece sets will take off this spring. Cardi B was seen wearing a set from her new collection with Fashion Nova.

Monochrome
I am loving this oncoming trend right now. Pairing two or more pieces of similar colored clothing together can really make an outfit. Pair bright colored clothes together to make a statement.

When keeping the same color throughout an outfit, it can be hard to break up the seperate pieces. To keep the outfit interesting, switch up different patterns and textures. Instead of choosing a matching co-ord, I went with a lilac corduroy blazer and a pair of purple checkered trousers.
